Every mechanical component, including cars, are subject to wear and tear due to various factors. In order to nullify this issue, vehicles are encouraged to regularly send their cars for routine maintenance in order to extend the roadworthiness of their vehicles to ensure safety of all road users.
In line with that, the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), through its Car Care Week programme will be organizing FREE car inspections for all visitors of the Malaysia Autoshow Sabah 2019, which will be happening from the 19th-20th October at the Sabah Cultural Centre, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Thee free car inspection, which also includes participation from Perodua, will consist of a 21-point inspection system inclusive of engine oil levels, brake pad wear and electronics system of the vehicle. Visitors will then be given advice on their car’s condition by professionally trained vehicle inspectors and is not subjected to a particular brand or model.
Furthermore, Child Passenger Safety Malaysia (CPSM) will be joining MARii in the efforts to promote the usage of child seats to ensure the safety of children are maximised on the roads. CPSM will be providing free child seat inspections and safety talks to visitors of the CCW booth during the Autoshow Sabah 2019.
