MARiiCas is a game-changing electric motorcycle rebate initiative introduced under Malaysia’s Budget 2024, designed to accelerate the adoption of electric motorcycles across the nation. Spearheaded by the Malaysia Automotive, Robotics and IoT Institute (MARii), this programme represents a bold step forward in Malaysia’s mobility transformation agenda.
Anchored in the National Automotive Policy (NAP) 2020, the New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030, and the national target to achieve Net Zero emissions by 2050, MARiiCas is more than just a rebate — it’s a movement toward cleaner, smarter, and more inclusive mobility solutions.
Objectives
MARiiCas is designed to:
- Empower Malaysians with more affordable access to electric motorcycles.
- Promote sustainability by reducing dependence on conventional fuel-based two-wheelers.
