The Lean Production System (LPS) programme is conducted in collaboration with Malaysian car manufacturers PROTON and PERODUA designed to continually enhance productivity and efficiency while minimizing or eliminating wastage within the
manufacturing operations of its original
equipment manufacturers (OEM) and


A sub-programme of Lean Production Systems (LPS) is what is known as Karakuri, otherwise described as a people oriented programme to enhance efficiency and production processes.


MARii”s Automotive Supplier Excellence Programme (ASEP) is designed to elevate local automotive suppliers into becoming world class players in terms of competitiveness and sustainability by way of providing technical assistance, coaching, support and consultancy.


The National Policy on Industry 4.0 is underlined in INDUSTRY4WRD (Industry Forward), a proactive initiative spearheaded by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) to transform and empower Malaysia’s manufacturing sector into becoming more dynamic, technologically advanced and forward thinking in order to capitalize on opportunities of the future.


Additive manufacturing has been instrumental in transforming and reshaping today’s more advanced manufacturing industry.

Technopreneur Development Programme (TDP) Express, meanwhile, has also been developed to accelerate the implementation of digital technologies, and customized to equip Malaysian small and medium enterprises (SMEs) across all sectors, with digital solutions and tools to migrate their business to online platforms.
